Una delle canzoni più romantiche…
…che abbia mai sentito questa “This Is A Rebel Song” di Sinead O’Connor.
Qualcuno potrà obiettare che è anche una delle più smelense (= spudoratamente sentimentali), ma non è vero. In realtà questa è davvero una canzone ribelle e di grande coraggio perché ai tempi in cui l’Ulster era in fiamme, un amore fra una ragazza irlandese e un soldato inglese era una cosa di cui non si poteva parlare.
