5000 bells

5,000 bicycle bells make up this sound installation by Ronald van der Meijs (or, perhaps, they made up, since the work is two years old and installations don't always last long).

The idea, however, is beautiful. The bells are suspended on swinging metal stems planted in the ground and can touch each other with every breath of wind.
