There’s also this version by Matthew Reid that’s quite interesting. Reid performed the piece by filtering the microphone with an equalizer set to reinforce the resonant frequencies of the room. As a result, feedback was produced.
The recording was then passed through Autotune which tuned all the feedback, both the drone of the second movement and the various sounds of the third. In a way, it’s an electro-acoustic version of the piece.
