Markus Kison has created a Bluetooth-enabled burka that sends an image to all reachable cell phones.
Obviously, since this is a garment perceived in our country as a symbol of oppression against women, it is suggested that women could use it to display their image (or their avatar).
The inventor states that
The virtual appeals can not be gathered by the laws of the Koran and so the CharmingBurka fulfills the desire of living a more western life, which some Muslim women have today.
We always have to see what the Sharia judges who have convicted women for much less think.
Frankly, I don't know whether to take this seriously or as a provocation. And if it is a provocation, is it a useful provocation or an end in itself?
On the other hand, Markus Klein is no stranger to provocations. Look at this Ticker Cross, a crucifix connected to the internet with a display that, in addition to displaying the traditional INRI logo, scrolls through the prices of shares held by the Vatican.
