Wonderful, the Ives postage stamp!
Since the United States Post Office issued its first stamp in 1847, over 4,000 stamps have been issued and over 800 people featured.
But they have not had the pleasure to see their face on the stamp because the first condition is to be dead.
Here is the list of composers with the year they were first featured on a stamp. There are also some jazz musicians and songwriters, not in this list.
