Playing double bass balalaika it’s hard…
It is tuned E, A, D from low to high string.
The size and shape of the instrument require the player to play in an
upright position. A metal pin protrudes from the instrument. Thus,
neither the body of the instrument nor its soundboard touch the player
and a great resonant effect is created, resulting in a powerful, long
and deep sound.
