Electroacoustic Schnittke

An electroacoustic work by Alfred Schnittke published by russian label Electroshock records.

I honestly didn't know that Alfred Schnittke had also written electroacoustic music. But the aforementioned Russian label Electroshock records, in this anthology titled "Electroacoustic Music Vol. IV," which collects Russian electroacoustic music created between 1964 and 1971, has released this "Steam," a truly remarkable piece of "drone music."
This piece was created with the ANS synthesizer, a machine built in a single copy by Evgeniy Murzin and now preserved at Lomonosov University in Moscow. See ANS synthesizer in wikipedia.
