Eroica Spettrale

Jeff Harrington defines his music as:

Music that is tonal and intensely contrapuntal inspired by New Orleans and classical music traditions.

If that were the case, it wouldn't be very interesting to me. But then, instead, he pulls a piece like this out of his hat:
