faune & seis tormentas together in this release titled “zone de guerre” (2006) for the netlabels unshell records and pathmusick by Alex Cortex.

I find these bands of sound composed of very few elements in a perpetual loop fascinating, almost a residue of something that has already happened that we have not witnessed and about which we know nothing.
In fact, this situation reminds me a little of Stalker, not so much the Tarkovsky film, but rather the story on which it is based: Roadside Picnic (italian: Picnic sul ciglio della strada, 1971) by the brothers Arkady and Boris Strugatsky.

As after a roadside picnic, halfway between one galaxy and another, the aliens have left their leftovers on the lawn. “Leftovers” which radically changed the physical laws and nature of those places.
