How to get invited...

...or drastically reduce the number of performances.

This piece is OM, for orchestra, Op. 12, written in 1968 by Robert Wittinger (an Austro-Hungarian composer born in 1945) commissioned by the Hessicher Rundfunk for the Darmstadt Holiday Course for New Music. The piece ends with a gong strike, and the score states it in 14 languages.

This challenging gong strike can only be played by the composer; for this reason, he should be invited to every performance.
