Monochord

Monochord is part of George Crumb's Zeitgeist, a suite for two amplified pianos composed in 1988, 10 years after the last Makrokosmos book, from which it inherits its sonic exploration of delicate sounds produced by directly manipulating the piano strings and audible through amplification.
