Street art (graffiti and the like) is now history, so much so that it has left the streets and entered the galleries, and as such has also taken on a self-celebratory character.
In my opinion, however, this work by the Berlin/Parisian group Neozoon retains an evocative power that seemed lost. Ghosts of the animals that inhabited those places before and at the dawn of man, made from recycled materials, old furs, pieces of clothing, scraps of rejected human activity.
