Quadcopters in flight

This video is almost a year old, but it's definitely beautiful.

Quadcopters are tiny helicopters with four propellers. They're like drones, often equipped with a video camera.

Here, Ars Electronica Futurelab assembled 49 of them, equipped them with lights, and launched them, flying them in formation through the Linz night.

Beautiful to look at, but for me, the most exciting moment is the takeoff, even if I have the impression that the video, at that moment, was sped up a bit.
