Theremin as a controller

Few people know that Moog has a You Tube channel. And not many people know that Moog is also one of the world's leading manufacturers of Theremins. The latest model is the Etherwave Plus.

Moog recently expanded the Etherwave Plus's application, using it as a controller for analog gear. This video shows it controlling the filter of a Moog guitar, effectively shaping its tone.

From an electronics perspective, this is a trivial game because voltage is voltage, wherever it comes from and whatever it's generated by, but it clearly shows how the world of audio controllers could be extended in many ways.
