Venice Vaporetti

After a visit to the Venice Biennale, Andreas Bick composed a piece consisting solely of the sounds of vaporetti. The vaporetti are a fundamental part of the Venetian soundscape and are often experienced as annoying (I called them “big effort, small movement”), but here they become a rich and interesting sound source.
