Water Walk

1960: John Cage performs his Water Walk on the popular TV show I've Got a Secret in front of an astonished host who treats him like some kind of freak.
Notice how the performance (which begins at minute 5) is performed with great seriousness, despite the laughter of the audience.
More or less the same thing happened in 1958 on Double or Nothing (from where, incidentally, he walked away with a loot of $6,000).
